The Lax Luau will enter its 7th year this May. The date has been set for Sunday May 2rd. This great event will return to Mercer County Park, just outside of Princeton, NJ.
2010 Lax Luau Details:
When: Sunday May 2nd, 2010
Time: 8:00am start – 5:00pm end time
Where: Mercer County Park – Hamilton, NJ
Cost: $450 per team – Maximum # of players 15 / Minimum # of players 12
Who: Youth Town, Recreation Teams, At Large Players
Competition Details:
- 8 v 8 WITH goalie for 5th/6th and 7th/8th grades (7 field players plus a goalie)
- 7 v7 WITHOUT goalie for 3rd/4th grades
- Modified Field Lengths
- Festival format – no scores kept
- 5 x 25 minute games – running clock
- All players must be US Lacrosse Members
Divisions:
Hula Girl Division – 3rd / 4th graders
Flamingo Division – 5th / 6th graders
Hibiscus Division – 7th / 8th graders
What are some HIGHLIGHTS of the Lax Luau?
- Chance to play out of conference town teams.
- Festival format – no scores kept – play for the love of the game!
- Over 30 teams in participation and still growing! See list attached.
- Hawaiian themed team costumes (hula skirts, decorated shirts, leis, etc.

- “Tri-State Limbo Contest” - Prize Awarded to winners of each Division
- “Best Hawaiian Themed Uniform” Award
- Give-Away to EVERY participant!
- Team Tailgating!
How do I register my team?
1. Fill out team registration form
2. Include team fee ($450) with registration form
3. Checks payable to Tri-State Lacrosse and mailed to:

4. Player Waiver / Application will be emailed after we receive registration form.
What is an At Large Player?
1. Any individual player interested in joining our day of fun. At Large Players will be placed on a mixed team with other At Large players in their age bracket.
2. To register as an At Large Player, player must fill out the attached player waiver.
3. Cost for each At Large Player is $50. Checks payable to Tri-State Lacrosse and mailed to:

Deadlines to Remember:
1. April 1st Final Team Numbers are due. Must email suemontegari@trilax.com with information.
2. April 21st exact rosters and waivers due. Please mail to address above.
3. April 30th schedule will be posted on www.trilax.com.
